Front-End Angular Developer

Guident, an exciting new teleoperation of autonomous devices startup, is seeking to hire a Front-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for building the client-side of our web applications and help us design and maintain the first remote monitor and control center for autonomous devices in the United States.

Duties include:

  • Use web tech stack to create complex, interactive web applications.
  • Ensuring good functioning and responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
  • Get feedback from, and build solutions for users and customers.
  • Engineer code that is standardized, efficient, and well-documented.
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes.
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

The candidate requirements include:

  • B.S. or greater in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years minimum of front-end UI/UX development in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Angular framework, Typescript, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
  • Previous and demonstrable experience in compelling UI/UX design for automotive applications.
  • Proficiency with database and microservice back-ends in web design.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
  • Familiarity with the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment) and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with real-time video communication and data communication protocols or a strong desire to learn.


Bonus points:

  • Familiarity with browser WebRTC API and WebSocket API.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles.
  • Proven ability to develop applications in startup and large-scale, high-performance environments.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
